What is AppCentral?

How do I know when the pre-application has been approved?
You will receive an email confirmation from AppCentral confirming the pre-application has been accepted. Following this acceptance, an email will be sent with a PROVIDER-SPECIFIC link to the full application process.

How does a provider update their profile information, such as changes to address or phone number?
Download and complete the CVO Provider Information Change Form, and submit via:

How much lead time do I need to start the credentialing application process?
Providers are required to submit a pre-application via AppCentral 90 to 120 days prior to provider’s anticipated start date. Delays can occur when applications are partial and/or incomplete.

What can a provider do to expedite the application process?
You may contact verification source(s) to request prompt response(s) to BayCare CVO’s documentation request. You also may receive communication by email or phone from an assigned BayCare CVO specialist with follow-up requests, which can aid in the advance the credentialing process.

What is the process to expand privileges if I am already on staff at a BayCare Health System entity?
Send an email to CVO.Mailbox@baycare.org with the following information:
- Current Resume/CV
- Name of the entity(ies) where you are requesting privileges
After this information is received, you will receive an email from the CVO with further instructions to complete your request.

What is provider reappointment?
Reappointment is the BayCare CVO process of re-evaluating a practitioner's current competency after they have been appointed to the medical staff or professional staff.

If I am on staff, do I need to go through the same paperwork again?
The standards set for by The Joint Commission on Hospital Accreditation require all providers to complete a reappointment process every 24 months. The BayCare CVO has the responsibility to ensure that all providers on staff are currently competent, and reappointment is the process of re-evaluating competency.

What happens if I do not complete my reappointment paperwork?
If a provider does not complete the reappointment paperwork on time, the reappointment will expire and they can no longer work or see patients at a BayCare Health System entity. Details are on the Reappointment page.
